New screens: The Fellowship of the Ring

Universal Interactive has released new screenshots from The Fellowship of the Ring, an action adventure game based on the popular book of the same name. These new shots illustrate various parts of the Shire, a land populated by hobbits. In the game, players will be able to follow the adventures of three different characters: Gandalf, Frodo, and Aragorn. Each character will have different skills and abilities. Players will be able to engage in melee combat, set traps, pick locks, and use magic spells. There will also be 28 different types of enemies in the game, as well as boss characters.

The Fellowship of the Ring is scheduled for release on the Xbox in Q4 2002.
