Ubi Soft has released a new group of screenshots from Silent Hunter II, its upcoming submarine simulation. The new screenshots include views through the periscope, a look at the damage control screen, and some views from the antiaircraft guns.

Silent Hunter II will let players command a submarine during World War II. It will feature a single-player campaign based on historical World War II battles, and it will include realistic models of ships, aircraft, and submarines, as well as accurate ship motion and weather effects. A special multiplayer mode will let players compete head-to-head against surface ships controlled by players of Ubi Soft's upcoming naval combat simulation, Destroyer Command.

Silent Hunter II is in development at Ultimation, and it is scheduled for release this fall. For more information, take a look at our previous coverage of the game.
