The official Dungeon Siege Web site has been updated with several new images from the game, showcasing the different environments and characters that players will encounter. The game is currently being developed by Gas Powered Games under the direction of Chris Taylor, the creator of the real-time strategy game Total Annihilation. Evidence of the development team's real-time strategy roots is apparent, as many features from real-time strategy games--such as group formations--have been integrated into the game. In addition, Dungeon Siege features an advanced graphics engine that eliminates load time in between environments.

Dungeon Siege is on track for a fall release. For more on Dungeon Siege, including interviews with Taylor, take a look at our previous coverage.
