New screen: Warcraft III

Blizzard Entertainment has released a new screenshot from its upcoming 3D real-time strategy game, Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos. The new screenshot shows off an overhead view of a battle about to start between orcs and humans. Along with a group of orcish and human soldiers, a huge tauren chieftain, one of the orcish hero units, can be seen in the scene.

Warcraft III is the latest game in Blizzard's long-running Warcraft real-time strategy series. It will feature a detailed 3D fantasy world, four playable factions with different heroes, units, and abilities, and a variety of neutral monsters. The game is scheduled for release in early 2002.
