Activision has released new information on and media from Spider-Man: Mysterio's Menace for the Nintendo Game Boy Advance. As the game's title suggests, Spider-Man will have to go head-to-head with the supervillain Mysterio and his evil henchmen in his first GBA adventure. At his disposal are a variety of familiar attacks such as kicks, uppercuts, impact webbing, wallcrawling, and capture webbing, and a host of new moves such as dive kicks and a web shield that temporarily stops enemy attacks. Power-ups are also an integral part of the game, as Spider-Man will have access to health upgrades, web refills, items that enable invincibility, and weapons-based items.

Spider-Man fans are generally eager to see the webbed hero in a variety of costumes, and Mysterio's Menace provides just that. Aside from his original outfit, Spider-Man can wear the thermal suit, which protects him from fire and freeze attacks; the Kevlar suit, which reduces the damage he absorbs; and the top secret black symbiote suit, which constantly regenerates his health.

Spider-Man: Mysterio's Menace is being developed by Vicarious Visions, the company responsible for the popular GBA remake of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2. The game will be released this summer for the Game Boy Advance.
