Lies of P launches later this month, and in the buildup to the arrival of this Souls-like action-RPG, developer Neowiz Games has revealed a closer look at the Legion Arms gameplay mechanic in these exclusive images and video on GameSpot. Legion Arms are special pieces of equipment that P can equip and use--powerful prosthetics that give him more flexibility in combat and can also be upgraded. Once equipped, Legion Arms will consume a separate bar of magical power, and when used properly, they can open up other secret areas within the world of Krat.

P starts out with his trusty Iron Fist, his default arm, but it's not long before he can start equipping himself with gear like Deus Ex Machina. This Legion Arm is essentially an overpowered piledriver that can bury explosive stakes in the ground, perfect for when you want to lure enemies into an ambush. Upgrade it, and you'll be able to hammer even more of these explosive traps into place.

Falcon Eyes equips P with a powerful cannon that makes him look like a steampunk Megaman and fires off explosive rounds that detonate after a short delay. Puppet String is a handy grappling hook that can be used to pull enemies towards P or propel him into them with devastating force, and Fulminis equips P with an electrical attack that can be used to briefly disable enemies or destroy them entirely after it has been upgraded.

Flamberge is a wrist-mounted flamethrower that can be upgraded to unleash a wider spread of flames and Pandemonium sprays the ground around P with a corrosive liquid that can destroy enemies if they get caught standing on it.

Lies of P launches on September 19 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, and Mac. It'll also be a day-one release on Game Pass. For more details, you can check out everything we know about Lies of P.
