Jumanji: The Next Level Gets A New Trailer, And It's Weird And Wonderful

Coming to theaters this December is the next installment in the Jumanji franchise: The Next Level. On Thursday, a new trailer was revealed for the upcoming movie, and somehow, it seems even weirder than Welcome to the Jungle.

In the trailer, most of the gang is back and in a new world in Jumanji. However, this time around, they're not playing as the same avatars as they did in the last movie, while adding new characters to the cast. Danny Glover's character is in Kevin Hart's body and Danny Devito is in Dwayne Johnson's character. Also, Bethany is now inside a horse. Watch it below.

The latest film will take them out of the jungle and into a few different worlds, like the desert and into the mountains, where things feel very much like an episode of Game of Thrones.

The Devito/Johnson switch-up was revealed in the first trailer, back in June. For the December film, Nick Jonas is returning, alongside Kevin Hart, Jack Black, Karen Gillan, and Dwayne Johnson, for the avatars inside the world of Jumanji. They will also be joined for the first time by Awkwafina. The Next Level also stars Madison Iseman as Bethany, Alex Wolf as Spencer, Morgan Turner as Martha, Ser'Darius Blain as Fridge, and Colin Hanks as Alex.

Jumanji: The Next Level hits theaters on December 13.
