New Independence War 2 Screenshots

Earlier today, we had a chance to meet up with Infogrames to take a look at the highly anticipated Independence War 2: Edge of Chaos and take a few new screenshots. The game takes place 200 years after the first Independence War, and it follows the exploits of Cal Johnston as he attempts to make a living in the deep regions of space after his father's death. Independence War 2's visuals are impressive. On each version of your ship, you can see the small mounting points where different devices can be attached, and the cockpit contains a fairly detailed character model of Cal. Also, stars and nebulae all act as independent light sources that cast different shadows over your ship.
