Blue Byte has released a large group of new screenshots from its upcoming World War II flight combat simulation, IL-2 Sturmovik. The game is based on the air battles between Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union during World War II. Players can fly a wide variety of detailed aircraft, such as the US P-39, the Soviet MiG series, and the "flying tank" that the game is named after - the Soviet IL-2 Sturmovik. The aircraft feature fully 3D cockpits as well. The multiplayer mode is supported over both a LAN and the Blue Byte Game Channel, and it lets up to 32 players compete at the same time. For more information about IL-2 Sturmovik, take a look at our previous coverage of the game. We've updated our gallery with the new screenshots, as well as several previously released screenshots.

IL-2 Sturmovik is scheduled for release in March.
