New Grandia II Screens

Game Arts on Thursday updated the official web site for the upcoming role-playing title Grandia II for the Sega Dreamcast. These new screenshots show the Granacliff, the town of Kabo, and scenes from some of the game's dungeons. Unlike Grandia for the Sega Saturn and Sony PlayStation, which used 2D sprite animation for the characters and 3D polygon for the field map, Grandia II uses 3D polygons to create its environment.

Grandia II for the Sega Dreamcast is expected to release this summer in Japan. A US release has not yet been announced.
