Here are all the biggest games coming to each platform in the first month of 2021.

2021 is officially here, which means a new year's worth of game releases to look forward to on your favorite platforms. Although January is traditionally a slow month in terms of new releases, there are a handful of exciting titles coming to PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, PC, and last-gen systems over the next few days, including IO's highly-anticipated Hitman 3, Bloober Team's unsettling horror game The Medium, and more.

Arguably this month's biggest release, Hitman 3 arrives on nearly every platform on January 20. This third installment in IO's rebooted series takes Agent 47 on a globe-spanning mission to assassinate targets in six different locales around the world, from Dubai to Chongqing. Not only that, but the game also lets players import all the levels from Hitman and Hitman 2 as well, while the PlayStation version features PSVR support.

The next venture from Layers of Fear developer Bloober Team, The Medium arrives on Xbox and PC on January 28. The unsettling psychological horror game casts players in the role of Marianne, the titular medium who is attuned to both the real world and the spirit one. Marianne must harness this ability to navigate the dual realities to solve puzzles and unravel the mystery of a tragic murder.

More than a decade after its original release, Ubisoft's beloved beat-'em-up Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game is back on a new generation of consoles. Dubbed the Complete Edition, this remastered version packages the base game together with all of its original DLC. Limited Run Games is also releasing special physical editions of the game that come with an instruction booklet, CD soundtrack, and other collectible extras.
