Sarah Connor has officially joined Fortnite, and the Terminator hero is not alone. She's joined by the T-800, a deadly machine whose sole purpose is to destroy those who threaten Skynet's mission--which just happens to be the destruction of humanity.

Sarah Connor gets two different variants of her outfit as a skin, as well as the T-800 Endoskeleton Arm as back bling and a combat knife. The T-800 skin itself comes with a unique emote as well as a Net Uplink back bling and Techno-Grip Axe. Those glowing eyes are truly terrifying.

It isn't the first time that the Terminator franchise crosses over with a popular game franchise. Gears 5 included the Dark Fate Pack, which came with skins for Sarah Connor and the T-800 Endoskeleton, so it's clear the rights-holders are up for licensing the characters for games. It remains to be seen if you'll be teaming up with the characters or fighting them. Arnold's classic Terminator from the first film eventually made way to a version that was an ally of the resistance.

Epic Games has kept busy teaming up with other popular franchises with crossover characters in Fortnite. Before this, Master Chief from Halo and Kratos from God of War came to the game. Predator, meanwhile, is the newest crossover character--find out how to complete the Predator challenges here. There are several to complete, and a few are around the same area of the map.

In other news, Epic just recently pledged a whopping $20 million for the next Fortnite Champion Series.

Microsoft announced it will no longer require Xbox Live Gold for free-to-play games on console. This means you'll soon be able to enjoy Fortnite without needing a subscription. The price of Xbox Live Gold is also not going up, in case you do play other games.
