New details: Jet Riders Game Boy Advance
UK developer Bits Studios fills us in on the latest regarding Jet Riders for the Game Boy Advance, including new screenshots and a first movie.
The UK developer Bits Studios is known mostly for its upcoming Die Hard Vendetta title for the GameCube, which will be published by Vivendi Universal. Today, we received new screenshots and a first movie of one of Bits Studios' other projects, the jet-ski racer on the Game Boy Advance, titled Jet Riders.
Jet Riders is a top-down racer in which players control the riders and one of six watercraft. There's a free practice mode, as well as three competition modes. In the normal race mode, the fastest player wins, whereas in the stunt mode, players need to get the highest scores for their stunts to win the track. The time-trial mode lets players race against other players' best lap times. To wrap it all up, there's a multiplayer mode that lets four players battle it out together using a single copy of the game. In total, the game offers 21 tracks, which are scattered across three worldwide locations. To see the game in motion, download the latest movie linked below.
The game is expected to ship this summer, and a publisher for the game will be announced in the forthcoming weeks.
