New Dark Souls 3 Trailer Showcases Punishing Gameplay, Scary Enemies
Dark Souls III arrives soon.
Dark Souls III comes out today (March 24) in Japan. While everyone else will have to wait until April to play, Bandai Namco has now released a new trailer to tide you over.
The video, titled "Accursed," showcases the role-playing game's dark world and terrifying-looking enemies. Also on display are a series of the game's creepy locations, as well as some of its weapons and combat mechanics. Check it out:

In other news about the Dark Souls franchise, the first game is now playable on Xbox One through backwards compatibility.
Series creator Hidetaka Miyazaki previously indicated he wants to wrap up the Souls saga with Dark Souls III. Having been promoted to chief executive of developer From Software, Miyazaki said he believes the studio needs to aggressively pursue new ideas.
