Actor Luke Evans appeared on Good Morning America today to discuss the upcoming live-action Beauty and the Beast movie. The Gaston actor brought with him a new clip from the film in which he and Josh Gad (LeFou) sing the the famous song "Gaston" from the 1991 animated original.

The brief clip begins at 2:42 in the interview below.

The melody in the clip will sound familiar to Beauty and the Beast fans, but the lyrics may not. That's because Disney added "a few new lines" that were not in the original, Evans told Entertainment Weekly. These are alternate lines that the late Howard Ashman wrote for the original alongside Alan Menken.

In other Beauty and the Beast news, Evans is currently answering fan questions on his Twitter page. People are asking about Gaston's self-centered nature, with one question inquiring whether Gaston would ask Belle to be his Valentine or if he'd be his own.

Beauty and the Beast, which stars Emma Watson as Belle and Dan Stevens as the Beast, opens in theaters on March 17. It is just the latest live-action adaptation of a classic Disney film, following Maleficent, Cinderella, The Jungle Book, and Alice in Wonderland.
