A new Nintendo Switch bundle is available now at major retailers. To celebrate Mario Day, Nintendo released a $300 bundle that comes with red Joy-Cons and a popular Mario game of your choice. After purchasing the bundle, you'll be be able to redeem a digital voucher for one of three Mario games for Switch: Super Mario Odyssey, New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe, or Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. The bundle also comes with Super Mario Bros. Movie-themed stickers. We wouldn't be surprised to see this bundle sell out quickly, so you may want to hurry.

In case you're unfamiliar with the annual holiday, Mario Day is March 10 because you can stylize the date as MAR10. Over the years, Nintendo has embraced the festivities with new products, events, and deals on popular Nintendo products.

It's important to note that the Switch bundle comes with the standard console, not the Switch OLED. The inclusion of the Mario-red Joy-Con controllers is pretty cool, as these aren't sold separately. The red Joy-Con were previously included in a separate Mario-themed Switch that hasn't been available at MSRP for a while. Besides the red Joy-Con, the console matches the regular Switch.

If you've been thinking about buying a Nintendo Switch, the new bundle is a good way to go. Deals on Switch consoles are exceedingly rare, and Nintendo typically doesn't offer bundle deals outside of Black Friday. The official Black Friday bundle has always included Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, so now you have two more games to choose from with this bundle.

You can pair your new Switch console with some additional games by shopping Nintendo's official Mario Day deals at major retailers. A bunch of Switch exclusives starring Mario and his pals are discounted to $40 right now. You can check out all of the game discounts in GameSpot's Mario Day deals roundup.

The Super Mario Bros. Movie releases on April 5, and it's expected to do big business at the box office and potentially become one of the highest-grossing video game movies ever. Presale tickets are available now via Fandango.
