Neverwinter Nights module available

BioWare has released the first official add-on module for Neverwinter Nights, its recently released Dungeons & Dragons role-playing game. The module, Contest of Champions, lets a group of players fight each other on up to four different teams. It features two different no-holds-barred battle arenas, and the last team standing at the end of combat wins the round.

Players will be able to enter their team headquarters and purchase items and equipment within adjustable limits to prepare for the contest. They can then teleport into the battle arenas with the rest of their team. Once all their opponents are defeated, they will be teleported back to their headquarters. Neverwinter Nights was released earlier this month under Infogrames' Atari label. The game is set in the Forgotten Realms medieval fantasy universe, and it is based on the 3rd Edition Dungeons & Dragons rules. The game includes an extensive single-player campaign and an innovative dungeon master system that lets players create and run adventures for dozens of other players.
