The first trailer for the upcoming anime series Godzilla Singular Point has been released. The show is set to hit Netflix in June 2021.

The Godzilla Singular Point trailer might be less than two minutes long, but it delivers a lot. The show focuses on two young scientists, Mei and Yun, who team up to fight a new kaiju threat that is emerging from the earth. There's mecha action, exploding buildings, dinosaurs, tentacled beasts, and of course, Godzilla himself. It all looks hugely entertaining and superbly animated--check the trailer out below.

Godzilla Singular Point is produced by anime studios Bones (My Hero Academia) and Orange (Beastars), and directed by Atsushi Takahashi (Blue Exorcist: The Movie). It's a 13-episode series that premiered on Japanese Netflix last month. It doesn't have a confirmed US release date yet, but will be here in June.

The show will join a variety of other animated Godzilla titles that are available on Netflix, which include Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters, Godzilla: City on the Edge of Battle, and Godzilla: The Planet Eater. Kaiju fans can also expect a second season of the animated Netflix series Pacific Rim: The Black, which was announced earlier this month.
