Netflix's Master Of None Season 3 Gets First Trailer And Premiere Date

The show is finally coming back in May.

Comments

Netflix has released the first trailer for Season 3 of Master of None, which will hit the streaming service on May 23. The dramedy series is co-created by Aziz Ansari (Parks and Recreation) and Alan Yang (The Good Place), and was unexpectedly announced last week as coming in May.

This new season will be five episodes, and are under a banner titled "Master of None Presents: Moments in Love." As this new trailer confirms, these episodes are expected to focus on Lena Waithe's character, Denise, and a budding relationship. These episodes have been co-written with Ansari and Waithe, with Ansari directing. Check out the new trailer below to get a sense of the new, more intimate and quiet direction the show will be heading next.

No information has been released about the runtime for these five episodes, and it's also not known as of this writing if the series may adopt a model similar to other series, rolling out half of a season's episode on one date, then the rest later. Seeing as how Season 2 came to Netflix in 2017, and that season closed on an ambiguous cliffhanger for Ansari's character Dev Shah and his new romantic interest, Francesca, fans are likely expecting some closure on what that ending meant.

In the meantime, you can check out our rundown and recommendations of what to check out among what's coming to Netflix in May alongside Master of None.
