Netflix's Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous Season 2 Gets Release Date And Trailer

The second season of the animated Netflix series arrives in January.

Although the next Jurassic World movie has been delayed until 2022, fans of the rampaging dinosaur franchise will be able to check out Season 2 of the animated show Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous very soon. The series hits Netflix in January and the trailer has been released.

The new season picks up where Season 1, which was released in September, left off. Our young heroes are trapped on Isla Nublar in the adventure camp of the title, with hungry dinosaurs roaming the park. But as this trailer reveals, they encounter another group and start making plans to escape. Check it out below.

Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous Season 2 hits Netflix on January 22. The voicecast includes Paul-Mike'l Williams (Westworld), Jenna Ortega (The Babysitter: Killer Queen), Ryan Potter (Big Hero 6), and Sean Giambrone (The Goldbergs).

As for the film series, Jurassic World: Dominion arrives in theaters in June 2022, having been pushed back an entire year. As well as regular stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas-Howard, the film sees the return of the three main actors from the original Jurassic Park--Sam Neill, Jeff Goldblum, and Laura Dern. The film is directed by Colin Trevorrow, who also helmed Jurassic World.
