Netflix's Ghost In The Shell Show Gets Wild New Trailer

While Shirow Masamune's manga series Ghost in the Shell has had many adaptations in the past, including a big-budget Hollywood movie, the latest installment in the saga it coming to Netflix. Titled Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045, the movie is directed by Shinji Aramaki and Kenji Kamiyama.

Coming in April, this will be a very different take on the classic manga series, as SAC_2045 will feature 3D computer graphics, giving it a very distinct style compared to other anime movies and series. You can check out the full trailer for the new series below.

The series features Atsushi Nakanaka as Motoko Kusanagi, Akio Takatsuka as Bato, and Hirota Takaji as Togusa. The official synopsis for the series reads, "In the year 2045, after global capitalism has defaulted, Japan's elite Section 9 begins conducting covert cyber operations."

Additionally, a new poster for the series was released, featuring the members of Section 9, featuring Motoko front and center. Check it out for yourself below.
