Electronic Arts has today announced that it will release NCAA Football 2004 for the N-Gage before the end of 2003. Gameplay details are scarce at present, but EA has stated that the game will take advantage of a number of the N-Gage's unique features, including multiplayer support via Bluetooth wireless technology.

"There's a lot of excitement about the connectivity features of Nokia's N-Gage," said Nancy Smith, executive vice president of North American publishing at EA. "We believe there are a lot of interesting possibilities for providing downloadable features for players of both EA Sports and EA Games titles."

"We are obviously very excited to be announcing our first EA title for the N-Gage--NCAA Football 2004. With Nokia's long-standing involvement in college athletics and our Nokia Sugar Bowl title sponsorship, the synergies are tremendous," said Pasi Pölönen, director of the game publishing, entertainment, and media business unit at Nokia. "With the multiplay features of NCAA Football 2004 on the N-Gage, two players can compete head-to-head in real time, putting the excitement of an NCAA football game into their hands."

The N-Gage version of NCAA Football 2004 is currently scheduled for release toward the end of 2003. We'll bring you more information on the game as soon as it becomes available.
