Namco has today announced the North American release of kill.switch for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox. The third-person military action game will feature 18 levels and will encourage players to constantly adapt to their surroundings and take cover when they encounter enemies intelligent enough to employ team-based tactics and attacks.

"kill.switch is poised to make a significant impact in the third-person action military shooter genre this year," said Matt Sentell, senior producer at Namco. "The demanding use of realistic warfare cover-tactics in kill.switch compel the player to constantly assess and react to the situation around them--something other games have attempted but not mastered."
