Nokia has today announced that it will be starting an N-Gage Snow Tour in Hermagor, Austria, a week from today. The tour, which will give winter sports enthusiasts a chance to sample the N-Gage game deck, will visit 29 resorts in seven European countries between February 13 and April 10.

Visitors to the winter sport resorts will be invited to participate in daily N-Gage challenges on such games as Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, FIFA 2004, Rayman 3, Splinter Cell, and Red Faction. Prizes on offer will include N-Gage game decks, skis, N-Gage snowboards, and a top prize of a skiing holiday for two.

Nokia's partners on the Snow Tour will be snow sports guru Salomon and the maker of the Battery energy drink Oy Sinebrychoff Ab. Salomon will provide entertainment on a big screen and will also provide access to some of its athletes, while free samples of Battery will ensure that attendees are well prepared for the N-Gage challenges. The maker of Battery will also be entertaining the crowds with their infamous human catapult display.
