Apple TV has released a trailer for Season 3 of Mythic Quest. The workplace comedy satirizing the video game and tech industries will start airing new episodes on the streaming service starting November 11.

A synopsis reads: "In Season 3, as Ian and Poppy navigate the gaming world and their partnership at the newly formed GrimPop Studios, Dana is forced to play mediator to her bosses’ incessant bickering. Back at Mythic Quest, David settles into his new role as the boss where he truly finds himself in charge for the first time with Jo returning as his assistant--more loyal and militant than ever; and Carol attempts to figure out where she fits in after a new promotion. At Berkeley, Rachel struggles to balance her morals with capitalism, while a post-prison Brad tries to return to society as a reformed man."

Last year, Mythic Quest was renewed for Seasons 3 and 4. Season 2 concluded in June 2021, with the series proving to be a surprising success for Apple. Created by Charlie Day, Megan Ganz, and Rob McElhenney for Apple TV+, Mythic Quest follows the journey of multiple developers, producers, and creatives at a game development studio that has created Mythic Quest, an incredibly popular MMORPG enjoyed by thousands of players.

The show debuted on the Apple streaming service back in February 2020 and--no doubt thanks to the track record both Day and McElhenney have with staying topical on It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia--were quick to adapt the workplace comedy to the pandemic. The series quickly came up with not one, but two specials between seasons exploring, as McElhenney put it, "the practical and emotional difficulties" of adapting to a work from home and then "returning to normalcy."
