Myst miniseries in the works

The Sci Fi Channel has announced that it will run a TV miniseries next year based on the popular adventure game Myst. The four-hour miniseries will take viewers on a journey to uncover the secrets of the island of Myst. The characters in the series will discover magical books created by an ancient underground civilization that will take them through space and time to new worlds. The Myst miniseries will be produced by Mandalay Television Pictures in association with Columbia TriStar Domestic Television and Cyan, the studio that created the game.
