Mortal Kombat X Video Shows Rare New Granny Brutality
Ed Boon also confirms costume packs are on the way, shows Brazil outfits.
You may not have known this but the old lady hanging around in the background of Mortal Kombat X's Outworld Marketplace arena is called Blanche.
Blanche, who was probably only at the Outworld Marketplace on her weekly fruit run, has the unfortunate luck of having to witness gruesome one-on-one battles between all manner of terrifying combatants.
However, thanks to the latest Mortal Kombat X update, dear old Blanche can now get in on the action and throw down with some of Outworld's finest.
Once a player uses at least two stage interactables, picking up Blanche and throwing her at the opponent while holding the down button will result in the new Brutality.
During this Brutality Blanche, who is usually a sweet old lady that enjoys toffee flavoured hard candy (not cannon), embraces her inner monster and mounts the victim to deliver a series of devastating punches to the face.

In other Mortal Kombat X news, series co-creator and NetherRealm Studios creative director Ed Boon revealed a "number of additional costumes" are coming to the game, including a Brazil-themed pack.
