What's the big deal about pre-ordering this game when you guys are just going to buy it anyways....

Locking a character behind a pre-order just made me pirate this game when it comes out..so yay for pre-order bonuses! lol

I think preorder incentives should include a worthy little blast from the past or a nice featured item representing the game or to promote it a little. Not today's recycled extras unless they're special enough

I am not buying this. I am tired of content deliberately being removed from the game so they can offer it as an incentive early on and then later charge for it. It should be on the disc and part of the game period. PASS.

This is actually a reason for me not to buy it. Preorder bonuses are nice... but excluding people a character for not pre-ordering... oh do p1ss off.

They think that holding Goro hostage will boost their preorder sales. I personally think this will actually lower their non-preorder and overall sales and anger many. Not the wisest of marketing moves.

As someone on IGN forum posted:

"No thanks, because I guess it will have DLC characters, skins and maybe stages I better wait for the "Ultimate Edition" that includes all of that for the price of 1 game. I'm not in that hurry to pay for a fighting game that sells me overpriced DLC characters/skins to then include all of that in other edition. Thanks but not thanks."

This game better not have DLC or else I am not buying it.

Don't fall for this pre-order trick. He will probably be a $5 character DLC. If you were previously considering buying the game at $40 or $20 a little while after release, but now want to pre-order to get Goro, you are paying a huge premium for one character.

And Goro has never been that fun to use very much in the past anyway.
