Mortal Kombat Kollection tops September PSN sales

3 Resident Evil games in the top 10 just shows the games are quality.

Good that Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection is the best seller but the online play is laggy and unenjoyable. This game is best to be enjoy with local friends instead of online. No local friends = no fun.

It sucks that Warner Bros. ripped so many people off, this is the worst online multiplayer I have ever experienced with the horrible lag and the matchmaking that simply will not connect you 60% of the time.

Me want MK TRILOGY now.

I wish they'd put MK Mythologies Sub-Zero on psn.

Didnt this game have online lag issues? Or has that been fixed?

from dust is excellent and deserves the sales. The directors cut of RE is not surprising however, as it was given away free to psplus users (In the EU, not sure about NA)

Proof if any was needed that graphics mean nothing in comparison to gameplay and nostalgia. 8D

MK Collection is a great way to get the old stuff to newer fans, Cant wait to get it.

I hope Code Veronica isn't listed because it came out towards the end of the month. I bought CVX,4, and RE1 and plan on getting 2 and 3 as well. Its awesome that you can buy pretty much all the old re games except for 0 on psn so now counting my re5 I can have all the main re games starting with 1 on my ps3.

@bluebird08: I 10000000000000 percent agreed with you. I have the Ps3,Ps2, Game Boy Advance, Nintendo DS, Xbox, Xbox 360, Pc, PSP, and Wii, and i still think the Ps3 is the best out of all of them! :D

@Unfallen_Satan i dont only have a ps3, i have, ps3, xbox 360, gamecube, nintendo 64, a wii, i had a ps1 but then sold it to get ps2, and dont remember what happen to that ps2, but out of all of those i like the ps3 the most, i almost never play the xbox cause the online cost money, and my xbox is pretty much broken

@bluebird2010 I am a PS fan and PS3 owner, so I too feel your love of PS3. However, I prefer a broader scope than just one console so I like the freedom proposed by NodakJo2010. It seems like I am being non-committal on this. I apologize. Right now I have a strong feeling of "why can't we all just get along?" Not agree, but get along nonetheless. :)

Its only gonna get better with the edition of ps2 games now.

@garland51 xbox = suck, PS3 = awesome, at least with ps3 you get free online, and you dont get the stupid red ring of death! oh and you get better exlusive games like uncharted, little big planet, killzone, god of war, resistance, and infamous!

@Unfallen_Satan Mostly because people that have a ps3 probably have memories of ps1 classics. And with those memories becomes rehype of older games such as FF7. Which with the rehype also takes the younger audience to the past with the biggest hits such as Chrono Trigger, FF7, Resident Evil, Spyro, and whatnot....Ignore bluebird08's comment lol...Real Gamers play whatever they want.

Ok,decision to buy a PS3 made - I will finally conquer the old RE games!

That resident evil directors cut on PSN is awful. I'm glad I still have my old disc. The version they have on there is the Dual Shock rendition of it which had all the music replaced with the PC edition's tunes. It ended up sounding more like a Scooby Doo mystery adventure rather than Resident Evil. It would be nice if they threw another older version of it on there since I kind of wanted it for my PSP on the go. Oh well.

I'll have to get MK 1,2,3 Which are the pixel perfect arcade ports. Even though I played the 3 games to death on the Snes and Sega genesis to death over the years. The exact arcade translations are the best.

@zzamaro Ummm....what? haha. Final Fantasy 7 is probably one of the greatest selling RPG's of all time and changed the way how Roleplaying Games were made and played back in the last 90s.

@HollowNinja They are already available on pc via Midway Arcade Treasures Deluxe Edition. No need to port this.

I have all three on the Genesis and SNES. I have them on the XBox1, I have them on my desktop and laptop, but dammit, I still want this! :D

@juiceair the trick to getting a match is to choose friend game....then all the names of available matches will be there or press the button and create your own..after the match you will also have the ability to rematch giving you much playtime ;)
