Mortal Kombat 1 is launching on September 19, and it’s looking to shake up the iconic series. NetherRealm Studios will be bringing players to a reborn universe that offers “reimagined versions of iconic characters” and boasts a brand-new story mode. Of course, the game is just as violent as ever--as aptly demonstrated in this gameplay trailer--and if you’re excited to dive back into the bloody battlefield, you’ll be glad to know that Mortal Kombat 1 preorders are live now, including a cool Kollector's edition that is currently sold out.

The Kollector's Edition has been available at multiple retailers for brief windows of time over the past few weeks, so keep checking back if interested. It's worth noting it also costs $70 on Switch, which makes it the first third-party game to go for that price.
