More Halo 2 tunes on the way

It looks like gamers are in for a long wait for Halo 3, but Sumthing Else Music Works hopes to make the wait a little easier with the forthcoming release of Volume 2 of its original soundtrack for Halo 2. Scheduled for release in the US on April 25, Volume 2 features more than 70 minutes of music from Bungie Studios audio director Martin O’Donnell and Michael Salvatori. The album also features the work of guitar virtuoso Steve Vai. It will retail for $15.98. Sumthing Else has published a number of gaming soundtracks since 2000, including Age of Empires III, MediEvil Resurrection, and Kameo: Elements of Power.
