More Borderlands 2 DLC out next week
Halloween-themed Headhunter 1: TK Baha's Bloody Harvest launching October 22 for $3.
More than a year after release, Gearbox Software continues to offer new content for its stylized shooter Borderlands 2. The previously announced Halloween-themed Headhunter 1: TK Baha's Bloody Harvest digital expansion will be released on October 22, 2K Games announced today.
The content, the first of multiple Headhunter add-ons, will be available for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, and Mac on that day around the world for $2.99 / £2.39 / €2.99.
In TK Baha's Bloody Harvest, players will seek out the pieces of a key that will lead them into the heart of the Pumpkin Kingpin's pumpkin patch where they will battle against the Kingpin himself.
Throughout the DLC, players will find "augmented candy," which will drop from enemies and provide temporary player buffs, ranging from faster movement speed to increased damage.
Details about the next Headhunter expansions will be announced later.
Borderlands 2 originally released in September 2012. It has since shipped over 7 million copies and is on pace to become the highest-selling title in the history of 2K. A Game of the Year Edition was released for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC on October 8.
