2K Sports released the demo of MLB 2K7 over the online service in anticipation of the game's release today. The demo is a rematch of last year's National League Championship series, with players beginning in the seventh inning of a matchup between the St. Louis Cardinals and the New York Mets. The download, which is just under 1GB, is currently restricted to Xbox Live Gold subscribers in North America.

MLB 2K7 is now available for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, and PlayStation Portable. For more information, read GameSpot's previous coverage or check back soon for a full review.

Also, as previously promised by Ubisoft, the multiplayer demo for Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 was made available on Monday. The free teaser features cooperative and adversarial modes on the Outpost map and supports up to 16 players. The co-op mode asks players to gather intelligence and plant demo charges in an encampment, and the adversarial portion features the team-based takedown mode and every-man-for-himself sharpshooter mode.

The GRAW2 multiplayer demo is available for Gold members in all Xbox Live regions. The Xbox 360 version of the game is due out in stores this month. Check GameSpot's intel on the game for more details.
