MLB 15: The Show Special Edition Announced, Gameplay Reveal Today

Following last week's reveal of all the new features coming to MLB 15: The Show this year, Sony on Thursday announced a special-edition 10th Anniversary version of the upcoming professional baseball game.

The $70 bundle, which celebrates the baseball franchise's 10th anniversary, includes a nice-looking wood grain steelbook and exclusive cover. It also packs in a range of in-game items, including 12k in Stubs, 15 bonus item packs, all 30 MLB dynamic themes, and an official MLB 15 dynamic theme.

A physical version of the MLB 15: The Show 10th Anniversary Edition is available to preorder starting today at retailers across the United States. A digital version of the game, featuring all the same digital items, will be available to preorder from the PlayStation Store on February 10.

In addition, Sony has announced that anyone who preorders MLB 15: The Show will receive a free voucher for a DualShock 4 Skinit controller skin (pictured above) for the MLB team of their choice.

Sony has also announced a special Canada-only version of MLB 15: The Show, which will feature Toronto Blue Jays catcher Russell Martin on the cover. Everywhere else, Los Angeles Dodgers slugger Yasiel Puig is the cover star.

Finally, Sony reminded gamers today that the worldwide gameplay revealed for MLB 15: The Show will take place today, February 5, through Sony's Twitch channel starting at 2 PM PDT.
