Arxel Tribe has today announced via its official Web site that Mistmare has gone gold. The game has apparently benefited from a number of modifications in recent weeks, many of which have been implemented as a result of feedback from beta testers.

Mistmare is a role-playing game set in an alternate reality where, although the year is 1996, Europe is still in a medieval state. Players will assume the role of an inquisitor monk named Isador who must travel through Europe in search of a man deemed by the church to be the Antichrist and whose personal conflict threatens to throw the entire world into war.

Mistmare is scheduled for release in North America in May or June, and across Europe a month or so earlier. For more information on Mistmare, check out our previous coverage of the game.
