Might & Magic: Heroes VI delayed again
Ubisoft's turn-based strategy game now scheduled to arrive on PC on October 13; release date shift due to incorporation of community beta feedback.
Gamers eager to leap into the world of Ubisoft's turn-based strategy game Might & Magic: Heroes VI are going to have to wait. Ubisoft has announced that the PC game has been delayed again and is now penciled in for October 13.
The news comes from Ubisoft's community developer Irina Kassina, who recently wrote in the game's forums that Might & Magic: Heroes VI would not make its previously planned September 8 ship date.
After taking into account feedback gathered from the game's first beta, specifically issues with game balance and bugs, the developer thought it was wise to shift the release date in order to have enough time to implement the necessary changes and fixes.
A second beta wave has gone live today, and all those who preordered Might & Magic Heroes VI will be able to take part in the trial period. Additionally, the second beta hosts more solo and multiplayer maps than were featured in the first wave.
