Ha, I've always said it right I guess. Dunno why, perhaps at one point it was announced in one of the games or something. Ryan has says it wrong all the time lol.

Wish I could upload a voice clip to say how it's pronounced. I'm southern Italian & have enjoyed the Forza games since the very first. The word has a double meaning; depending on what context. In itself, forza means, strength. But it's also used to cheer someone on like for example, just before a race - on foot or motorsport - you can shout, "Forza, forza, vinciamo questo campionato!" Let's win this championship!

Sometimes you can say, "Forza e coraggio!" Strength & courage, if someone's about to go to the dentist, for example. 😁

This reminds me how my friends mispronounce Raiden from Metal Gear Solid as RAY-DEN instead of Raï-den as it is spelled identically like MK's Raiden but should be pronounced Ray-den.

I’ve heard worse

Fun Friday post. Im gonna rile up some people with... My son and I just use the shorthand "forzza 5" for new version! He never played old non horizons versions, and it just confuses the matter (Me to him: "no, I'm talking about forza HORIZON 5, not the old forza motorsport 5", type of confusion). So "forzzza five" it is! ;-)

European words are often spelt differently to how they’re pronounced. If rednecks from an isolated swamp are struggling with the word’s pronunciation, they can always just call it “Force”.

No one is going to call it that. How many years have the Forza games been around? It wasn’t until today that I had ever heard this. Not once have I heard anyone pronounce it any other way than the way they don’t want it pronounced. Fort-za sounds stupid, I’m sorry, Italy, but it does, and it’s not even spelled with two Zs, like Pizza.

Change the spelling from Forza to Forzza, and then I'll pronounce it as Fort-za.

Until then it's pronounced Forzzza.

Just listen to an italian screaming "Forrrza Italiaaaa",then you get it 😁
