Microsoft details official Xbox launch event

Microsoft has announced the details for its official Xbox launch event, which will take place at the Toys "R" Us store in Times Square, New York City. The retail store will begin selling Xbox consoles at 12:01am on November 15, but Microsoft expects lines to begin forming in front of the store at around 3:00pm on November 14. Microsoft has quite an extravaganza planned for the launch festivities. Throughout the night, Times Square's electronic billboards will be illuminated with Xbox colors, logos, and images of Xbox games.

Toys "R" Us will have Xbox systems, games, accessories, and a variety of giveaways. The store is located at 1514 Broadway at 44th Street in New York City.
