Metal Gear Solid: The Legacy Collection delayed

@hoplayletsplay I agree. The big thing that bothers me is that with all this good stuff coming out for PS3, it won't be BC with PS4. I Really want this collection, but it won't transfer to my PS4 later on. Yes, I'll still have my PS3, but it's nice to have everything on one console. It's why I still have my Fat 60GB.

@hoplayletsplay Totally. I'm so psyched about all the upcoming stuff on my PS3. To be honest, I can only imagine the graphics being better on the PS4 nothing else. It's not like the switch from ps1-2 and then ps2-3. The machines we have are already powerful enough as it is to do everything in terms of game mechanics.

@Crush_Project Keep wishing. Last time a Metal Gear game was released on PC was with the 2nd one.

@grey_fox1984 What the heck are you talking about? You can play in 3rd person view and I never had a single issue.

@brainiac1988 I was around the same age when I first played it and what scared me the most was going through that cave with the wolves. Those red eyes...

@brainiac1988 I actually played MGS1 for the first time a few weeks ago (PC version). I played through the entire thing in one day.. I just couldn't stop. I've never done that before with any game, ever.

I can safely say that even by today's standards, that game rocks. And that's coming from an unbiased, non-nostalgic point of view.

@brainiac1988 Original MGS1 was more challenging as well. The addition of the MGS2 gameplay was awesome but it made the game a bit too easy. The original was actually very challenging. Or maybe I just remember it that way cause I was 8 at the time. 1 thing I do kno is that game used to scare the crap out of me when the soldiers spotted me "!". I remember getting the demo on a disk in the mail and spending like 3 months playing that first snow area. Remember the days where games were simple and we played them just to mess around and laugh at how terrible the graphics were compared to the cutscenes.lol I miss those days. Metal gear was actually consistant with its graphics and cutscenes, but the graphics were still terrible hahaha. But its was still more immersive because it was consistant, Unlike Resident evil where the cutscenes looked real and then the gameplay looked like paper mache (thats french for "chewed paper"). That was such a letdown. ironically enough it was MGS2 where I finally said to myself "Yes now the gameplay looks as real as the Cutscenes". Great job Kojima + Team and MGS4 is probably the most realistic game I have played this gen. This is $50 of pure gold right here in this collection

Its not. its just the HD collection with MGS4 and MGS1 thrown in.

@rhenom Read carefully, man :) They packed ALL MG games there, exept MG Rising and MGS Portable Ops. The original MSX ones comes embeded into MGS 3.

came out.I just got MGS (first one) for pc so I could play the series from the beginning.This edition is such a deal that I will buy a PS3 just for this.I bought a X box last year for Red Dead Redemption.Wish I got a PS3.
