While we wait for the next big screen chapter of Matt Reeves' take on The Batman, we are finally getting a look at the Penguin-centered spin-off series coming to the Max streaming service.

On Thursday, Max revealed a sizzle reel of their upcoming 2024 shows that had the briefest of glimpses of what fans are in store for with The Penguin, starring Colin Farrell, who is reprising his role from the Reeves film.

"The world ain't built for guys like us," the Penguin says. "You're going to see what I can do!"

Also featured was Season 2 of House of the Dragon, the new Pretty Little Liars, Season 3 of the award-winning Hacks, and the It prequel series, Welcom to Derry. It also showed what shows fans can expect in 2025 like Season of The Last of Us and Season 3 of The White Lotus.

The cast of The Penguin includes Colin Farrell, Cristin Milioti, Rhenzy Feliz, Michael Kelly, Shohreh Aghdashloo, and Deirdre O'Connell, with Clancy Brown and Michael Zegen recurring in the series. The show is executive-produced by Matt Reeves, Dylan Clark, Colin Farrell, Lauren LeFranc (who also serves as showrunner), Craig Zobel (who directs the first three episodes), and Bill Carraro.
