Matrix Games and Tri-Synergy have today announced a partnership to publish and distribute Massive Assault in North America. The futuristic turn-based strategy game, which is being developed by Wargaming.net, is set in the year 2365, when Earth's energy resources are nearing depletion and humankind has been forced to colonize a number of other resource-rich planets.

"Wargaming.net has produced a challenging and addictive futuristic 3D strategy game in their new title Massive Assault," said David Heath, director of operations at Matrix Games. "To gamers familiar with their excellent work on DBA Online, the quality of this title should come as no surprise. We are delighted to have been selected to work with the Wargaming.net team as their exclusive distributors in North America for this exciting new release."

"Matrix Games and Tri-Synergy are known for their expertise in developing, publishing, and distributing strategy and war games," said Victor Kislyi, president of Wargaming.net. "They provide a powerful combination of genre familiarity, marketing experience, and strong developer and customer support that we believe is essential to the success of Massive Assault in North America."

Massive Assault is currently scheduled for release on September 16. For more information, check out our previous coverage of the game.
