Marvel's Midnight Suns takes the tactical RPG rules of XCOM and merges it with an all-star roster of Marvel superheroes and supervillains. Following a delay from its October release date, Midnight Suns is arriving on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation sometime in 2022, and four versions are now available for preorder. There are also a few cool bonuses for reserving an advanced copy--here's what you need to know about Marvel's Midnight Suns preorders.
Marvel’s Midnight Suns preorder bonuses
All preorders include the exclusive Doctor Stranger Defenders Skin. And while it’s not exactly a preorder bonus, signing up to receive email announcements from 2K will get you the exclusive Blade Nightstalker Skin.
Preorder Marvel’s Midnight Suns Standard Edition
$60
Four versions of Marvel’s Midnights Sun are available, with the standard edition being the most affordable. It includes any eligible preorder bonuses along with the base game. Physical editions are available to preorder now at GameStop, Best Buy, and Amazon, and digital copies are now available on their respective storefronts (PSN, Xbox Store, Steam). This is the last-gen version of the game for PS4 and Xbox One, although you can play it on new-gen consoles thanks to backward compatibility (although you’ll miss out new-gen enhancements).
Preorder Marvel’s Midnight Suns Enhanced Edition

Opting for the enhanced edition will get you the PS5 or Xbox Series X version of the game along with the Enhanced Premium Pack that includes five exclusive skins. You'll find digital versions on PSN, the Xbox Store, and Steam.
Preorder Marvel’s Midnight Suns Digital+ Edition
$80
The Digital+ Edition of Marvel’s Midnight Suns will get you the base game for new-gen consoles along with the Digital+ Premium Pack that comes with 11 exclusive skins. You'll find digital copies on PSN, the Xbox Store, and Steam. Best Buy also has a PC version up for grabs.
Preorder Marvel’s Midnight Suns Legendary Edition

If you want to have a bunch of customization options when Marvel’s Midnight Suns launches, consider nabbing the Legendary Edition. Not only will you get 23 premium cosmetic skins, but you’ll also gain post-launch access to the season pass. If you purchase the Legendary Edition in stores at GameStop, you'll get a free Iron Man Funko Pop. Digital copies can be found on PSN, the Xbox Store, and Steam.
Marvel's Midnight Suns tasks you with fending off Hydra--which has teamed up with the monstrous Lilith to help advance their cause. To stop the threat, you'll have access to a deep roster of Marvel superheroes (including Spider-Man) as you face off in tactical, turn-based gameplay.
The Hunter is the star of the show, which is the "first customizable original hero in the Marvel universe." You'll take control of the Hunter as they work with other iconic Marvel characters to put a stop to Lilith, the Hulk, Sabretooth, and Venom. Our recent hands-on preview revealed a game that's surprisingly different from XCOm, despite coming from the same studio.
