Few sports have the breadth and depth of history as college basketball. Every sports fan, it seems, has a favorite March Madness story from back in the day--a huge Cinderella upset, or a disappointing last second loss to a close rival--which they will relate to you with the slightest provocation. This respect for the epic history of the college game is evident in EA Sports' newest basketball title, NCAA March Madness 2005. In our latest preview of the game, we got a chance to check out the game's Pontiac College Classics mode, which will feature game scenarios with classic college teams of the past , such as the 1989 Michigan Wolverines or the 1982 University of North Carolina Tarheels.

An improved dynasty mode and the inclusion of a sim intervention feature similar to that found in the game's big brother, NBA Live 2005, means there should be plenty to check out when the game arrives in mid-November. In the meantime, check out our updated preview of the game and let us know what you think of the game's progress in our GameSpot Sports Forum.
