Majesco appoints new CEO
The game publisher announces former Sony Computer Entertainment America president Steve Race as its new chief executive officer.
Majesco has announced the appointment of board member Steve Race as its new chief executive officer. Race has more than 25 years of top-level management experience, including serving as president of Sony Computer Entertainment America during the launch of the original PlayStation. Prior to his time spent at Sony, Race was CEO of MicroProse. Race succeeds Majesco founder Morris Sutton, who will assume the role of chairman of the board for the company.
Majesco develops and publishes games for a variety of game platforms, including the PC, the Sony PlayStation 2, the Nintendo GameCube and Game Boy Advance, and the Microsoft Xbox. For more information about the company, visit the Majesco Web site.
