Madden charges in

Madden NFL 2003 breaks into the NPD sales charts at number two, and Medieval: Total War also makes an appearance.

While Blizzard's Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos is still tops the NPD PC sales chart, there are some new names in this week's top 10. Football season made its mark, as EA Sports' Madden NFL 2003 arrived in the number-two slot. The other new game on the chart is Activision's just-released strategy game Medieval: Total War, which debuted in the 10th slot. The best-selling The Sims series held the middle of the chart with slots three through five.
