Madden 08 drafts song list

Wow, I didn't realise so many people chose a game to buy solely on the music that plays at the opening and on loading screens. I always liked to pick my game based on, oh I don't know, game play.

Wow this track list is 100% Garbage. Looks like another year hitting the MUTE button during the opening of the game. EA games really really really is going to the garbage section. I switched to NBA 2K7 with the PS3 and never will buy a Live again. Soccer I went to Konami (well the new one will be my first) i am sick and tired of buying the same soccer game with horrible gameplay. And now madden. It went to garbage with 07 on next gen. Now they also said that the PS3 version is going to run at 30FPS. thats cool. NOW I WILL NOT SPEND A PENNY ON THIS GAME. Looks like my $60 will go to a game like Assassins Creed instead (and i was going to get madden in replace of this). But since both games suck for PS3 Quality I rather get a game that tells a story. GOOD JOB EA. Instead of making a PS3 game and porting it to 360 you did the opposite. Now i hope the consumer public is smart enough to not buy this game on PS3. That way we really burn another HUGE HOLE in your pocket and you REALLY learn your lesson. Idiots at EA biased a********

The soundtrack looks like it sucks, but i havent heard any songs on there besides the ozzy one....but, if they have the oldschool football soundtracks like they did in 06 and 07, then i will be alright....even so, its 360, so i can just listen to my own music, or turn it off..

OMG wtf are most of you complaining about? Turn the music off if you don't have a 360 (or I think PS3). You can just listen to something you think is better, like a dog barking down the street.If you have a next gen console, play your own fricken music. That simple.It's not hard. I played my own music in 07 (I have a 360) and nothing went wrong. This happens every year. People act as if this will ruin the gameplay. It's a optional feature to listen to the music in the game.

what is with all the whiney emo crap in Madden and every other ea sports game?! don't EA know Hot Topic kids dont play sports?! Shadows Fall are the only metal/rock band on there worth having on there. at least they like football!

So when is EA's suckfest going to end? I could care less about this music - It is a football game - Justin does not no what a football is, so why is he even "in the game"

Honestly, this list probably interests me more than last year's... I think that even the most amazing soundtrack in the world gets obscenely tiresome in a Madden game, as you hear the same songs over and over and over again considering how much time is spent with franchise mode etc. for your average Madden player. If they tripled the playlist, it would be at least bearable. Course, this year I'm probably not going to buy Madden, so it's a moot point. Looking forward to APF 08.

Hopefully, they will leave in the NFL Films music + the option to remove the tracks you don't want. I wish that would translate to the stadiums, as well. That, and every other soundtrack before it, is a giant pile of suckdom. Ugh. I cannot wait until 2010.

While the game remains the same each and every year, the music in Madden gets crappier and crappier with each release. It's like the only area EA puts any effort forth, and I think it's a subtle way for them to tell us how much they hate our lives (as if charging $60 each year for rehashed BS wasn't enough).

The music is one of the worst things about Madden. I played my first Madden game in a long time and my first NFL game since NFL 2K5 when I played Madden 07. The music was absolutely horrible and didn't fit the game at all. Having a soundtrack of real bands wouldn't even really be that bad if 90% of the bands weren't whiny emo bands who sound like they're going through puberty. The music just does not fit the game at all. The presentation in general is horrible in Madden. I just don't understand why people love Madden so much. Horrible music, crappy presentation, clumsy interface, and average gameplay.

Daddy Yankee is reggaeton... It might be a decent soundtrack, but IDK. I really like Pitbull and Daddy Yankee, the Tim-JT collab should be nice, the underground stuff should be aight, but I honestly think MIMS sucks.

brother ali, murs, zion i, and the grouch are pretty big in the underground, but if you dont like rap theres no way you will like underground rap... but i really dont like how they put trash songs by the artists, makes underground rap look way worse...

latin_boi Definately Love Ozzy, Sum 41, The Used, The Bravery, and Yellowcard...MIMS and Daddy Yankee are the only real hip-hop artists I can tolerate... since when was daddy yankee hip-hop??

Another terrible soundtrack. And it's so important because I play Madden so much every song gets so repetitive, especially when they're terrible like this.

Hmm, don't really care about the soundtrack, but some songs are good..swizz beatz, new upcoming artist, that song is pretty sweet!

i've been turnin off the madden sountrack for yrs now and it looks like i will continue. i dont care about madden's music. Just focus on the gameplay EA! thats where all the money should be goin, ima madden fan but jesus there were alot of things that were fake as hell in 07 for 360. hopefully they fix alot of them.

Ive only heard of like 6 or 7 artists from this list but whatever I really dont car what kind of songs are on it.

Every single one of these bands suck, minus ozzy..but he was much better with Black Sabbath. I'm still waiting for them to get some actual good music instead of all this teenage crap. This is the type of crap you will find on MTV for **** sake.

Why do they even bother to show this, not like im going to decide to pick up the game just because ozzy is on the soundtrack. I don't see why this soundtrack hasn't gotten so much attention compared to the other games with licensed music.

im noticing more & more people whine alot. its just a stupid soundtrack to a game. Listen to your iPod. Madden's commentary is the same every year anyway, so why listen to the game?

I love the song selection for Madden. I liked them for a while.

Queens of the Stone Age is a great band no doubt, but I don't see "3's & 7's" going with the theme of Football.
