Luigi's Mansion and Wave Race confirmed

A recent Time magazine article discussing the brewing battle between the Seattle-based console manufacturers Nintendo and Microsoft, has confirmed that Luigi's Mansion--seen in the SpaceWorld demos--and Wave Race: Blue Storm is indeed in development for the Nintendo GameCube console. Specific gameplay details were not discussed, but the article did state that in Luigi's Mansion players must rid a spooky mansion of ghosts armed only with a flashlight and a vacuum cleaner.
