Simergy, Geoff Crammond's game company, has announced that it has chosen Lost Toys to be its partner on the upcoming racing sequel Stunt Car Racer Pro. The game, which was announced last month, is the sequel to Crammond's Commodore 64 racing game Stunt Car Racer.

"Lost Toys will be key to making Stunt Car Racer Pro a success," Crammond said. "I've chosen them because they have a proven track record of producing great multiformat titles on time and to budget. I also believe this team understands perfectly just how strong Simergy's commitment is to quality and playability."

Lost Toys, which developed both MoHo and Battle Engine Aquila, will be primarily responsible for the art and graphics technology of the game, while Crammond will concentrate on the game's physics and AI.

"We were delighted when Geoff approached us to work with him on an evolution to Stunt Car Racer," said Jeremy Longley, managing director, Lost Toys. "It's an incredibly exciting project, and one we're really looking forward to working on."

It's still not been confirmed which platforms Stunt Car Racer Pro is in development for, or which company will be publishing the game, but we'll bring you more information on the game as soon as it becomes available.
