Lord of Destruction breaks sales record

Blizzard has announced that the expansion to Diablo II, Lord of Destruction, has set a new sales record, selling more than 1 million copies worldwide, with more than 2 million copies shipped to retailers. With these sales, Diablo II: Lord of Destruction has officially become the fastest selling expansion worldwide. The expansion adds two new classes--the druid and the assassin--and an entirely new act set in the barbarian highlands.
