Logitech came to CES with a host of products, many of which just shipped during the recent busy holiday season. And while we heard that Sony PSP-related products are in the pipeline, representatives couldn't reveal any details as of yet. Of the shipping products that haven't yet received as much attention as they deserve, the Play Link definitely stands out.

The Play Link acts a wireless link for any device that has a common Ethernet port, making an out of the way console, computer, or media center PC easy to connect to a home network. Logitech representatives informed us that paired units are matched at the factory to ensure that multiple units can be used in the same house without any interference. The units also come with encryption enabled, providing for a safe and secure experience.

Logitech made the Play Link easy for anyone to use. The device requires no drivers, software, or configuration whatsoever. All the user has to do is connect it to the desired devices, and plug it into a power outlet. The Play Link will configure itself in true plug and play fashion, leaving the user with seamless and buttonless configuration.

The Play Link has a range of 100 feet, and can work through multiple walls and other obstacles. We were told that the current 900MHz receiver/transmitter will be upgraded to a 2.4GHz version in an upcoming product. The Play Link is also capable 1.5mbps transfer rates, and Logitech says that there's minimal latency inherent in the wireless technology.

The Play Link is available in stores now and priced at $99.
